Last updated: June 23, 2026

These terms govern your use of Emet. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. Please read them carefully. Questions: support@emetfaith.com.

The service

Emet provides tools for Bible study, journaling, prayer, reading plans, fellowship, ministry publishing, and related discipleship features.

Features may change over time. We may add, modify, or remove functionality to improve the product or comply with law.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to use Emet. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the service only with permission from a parent or guardian.

You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.

You must provide accurate account information and may not impersonate another person or create accounts through automated means without permission.

Your content

You retain ownership of content you create in Emet. You grant us a limited license to host, store, display, and process your content solely to operate and improve the service, including backups and technical delivery.

You are responsible for your content and must have the rights needed to post it. Do not upload material that infringes someone else's rights.

If you publish content publicly, you understand it may be viewed, shared, or indexed according to the visibility you select.

Acceptable use

Use Emet to pursue faithful discipleship, not to harm others. You may not use the service to harass, threaten, defraud, spam, or distribute malware.

Do not attempt to probe, scrape, or disrupt the platform, bypass security, or access another user's private data without authorization.

Do not use Emet to promote violence, illegal activity, or content that violates the dignity of others.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms or that create risk for the community.

Scripture and AI

Bible text in Emet is provided through licensed sources and translations. Respect the terms of those licenses and do not redistribute bulk Scripture exports outside permitted use.

Emet AI features are study aids. They may be incomplete or incorrect. They do not replace Scripture, pastoral care, or professional counsel. You are responsible for how you use AI-generated output.

Subscriptions and payments

Some features may require a paid subscription. Prices and plan details are shown at checkout or in product settings.

Payments are processed by third-party providers. By subscribing, you also agree to their terms where applicable.

Unless stated otherwise at purchase, subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. Refund policies, if any, will be described at the time of purchase.

Third-party services

Emet may link to or integrate with third-party sites and services. We are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices.

Disclaimer

Emet is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. You use the service at your own risk.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Emet and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the service.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of one hundred U.S. dollars or the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Emet harmless from claims arising out of your content, your use of the service, or your violation of these terms.

Termination

You may stop using Emet at any time and may delete your account from settings where available.

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, create risk, or where required by law. We will try to provide notice when reasonable.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in courts located in Delaware, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Changes

We may update these terms. We will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes may also be communicated by email or in-product notice. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
