The Call to Embrace God’s Comfort
2 Corinthians 1:3
In the midst of life's challenges, it is easy to feel overwhelmed and alone. Yet, the Apostle Paul begins his second letter to the Corinthians with a powerful reminder of the source of our comfort: "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort." This opening verse encapsulates a profound truth about our God—He is not distant or indifferent to our struggles; rather, He is intimately aware of our pain and desires to comfort us in our times of need.
