Emet vs YouVersion
YouVersion brings the Bible to millions. Emet is for believers who want deeper study help, journaling, and fellowship in one workspace, with AI that stays under Scripture.
| Topic | Emet | YouVersion |
|---|---|---|
| Bible reading | 14 English translations, chapter audio, workspace tabs for study and journals | Broad translation library and reading plans at global scale |
| AI study help | Slash commands and pastoral chat that cite Scripture, refuse invented verses, and never speak as God | Not centered on AI study with theological guardrails |
| Community | Friends, messaging, and a fellowship feed focused on shared growth in the Word | Large social and plan community at consumer scale |
| Pricing | Free tier plus Emet Pro and Emet Disciple with listed monthly prices | Free consumer app with optional donations and partnerships |
